SAN DIEGO (AP) — The San Diego Chargers have opted to bring back coach Mike McCoy. Despite having a record of just 4-12 this season the Chargers have extended his contract through 2017. The Chargers were winless in AFC West games and he is 23-27 in three seasons.

NEW YORK (AP) — Khalil (KUH'-leel) Mack of the Raiders is the first player ever chosen first team All-Pro by The Associated Press at two positions. For his play as both a defensive end and outside linebacker the AP voters honored Mack with the distinction. Overall 15 NFC players and 12 from the AFC were chosen.

FRISCO, Texas (AP) — The Dallas Stars have the most points in the NHL's Western Conference, and for that general manager Jim Nill has been given a five-year contract extension. He took over the team in April 2013 and has built a squad that made the playoffs in 2013 and 2014. The Stars are 29-10 with four overtime losses this season.

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona (AP) — The class of 2016 for the College Football Hall of Fame has been announced. Overall 14 players were selected, including former Washington State offensive lineman Mike Utley, who suffered a spinal cord injury during an NFL game and was paralyzed.

UNDATED (AP) — Which team in the NBA has the most wins on its home court? If you said Golden State, you'd be wrong. Despite having the best overall record of 33-2, the Warriors trail the Spurs for most wins at home as San Antonio is 21-0.
