POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Geno Luzcando had career highs of 29 points and 10 rebounds in Idaho State's 83-78 victory over Northern Colorado on Thursday night.
Dallas Anglin's only 3-point basket cut Idaho State's lead to 80-75 and, after a Bengals turnover, he was fouled on another 3-point attempt and made all three free throws with 16 seconds left. But Kyle Ingram made two free throws for Idaho State (6-8, 1-1 Big Sky) and Northern Colorado's Jordan Wilson missed a layup with 10 seconds remaining.
Idaho State's final 14 points came at the line, missing just one in the final 5:13 after going 14 of 24 until that point.
Luzcando, 10-of-10 shooting for the game, scored 16 points and Telfair 14 in the first half when Idaho State led 48-32. Telfair finished with 23. The Bengals shot 50 percent.
Anglin scored a career-high 31 points Northern Colorado (4-11, 1-2).
