DANVILLE, Iowa (AP) — An Illinois woman has been charged with taking pain medication meant for patients at Danville Care Center in Danville.
Forty-three-year-old Sonja Hanks, of Biggsville, Illinois, was arrested Monday on a warrant that listed the drug counts and one for tampering with care center records. Her attorney didn't immediately return a call Thursday from The Associated Press, seeking comment on her behalf.
The Hawk Eye reports (http://bit.ly/1ZbHiX7 ) that court records say the medication Hanks obtained while working as a nurse at the center was meant to be given to three patients from April to July.
