FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) — Marcus Posley scored 30 points to lead St. Bonaventure over George Mason 77-58 on Wednesday night for the Bonnies' third straight win.

Posley was 8 of 17 from the field and 12 of 14 at the free-throw line. Posley has scored over 20 points in six games this season.

Jaylen Adams added 16 points and Denzel Gregg was perfect on five shots in scoring 12 points. Dion Wright grabbed 12 rebounds to go along with eight points.

The Bonnies (10-3, 2-0 Atlantic 10) are off to their best start since the 1999-2000 season when they began 12-2.

Shevon Thompson had 17 rebounds and 14 points for the Patriots (6-9, 0-2). Otis Livingston added 11 points.

The Bonnies led by three at halftime and led the entire second half with an 18-6 run, including eight points from Gregg and six from Posley, giving them a 17-point lead with 2:43 left.
