DAVIDSON, N.C. (AP) — Peyton Aldridge scored 22 points, Jack Gibbs added 21 with a career-high 10 assists, and Davidson pulled away in the second half to beat Duquesne 77-66 on Wednesday night.

Jordan Watkins scored 14 points, Andrew McAuliffe had a career-high 12 on 6-of-7 shooting, and the Wildcats (9-4, 1-1 Atlantic 10) made 8 of 29 3-pointers and 13 of 14 free throws.

Leading by two at halftime, Gibbs scored four points amid a 13-4 run and the Wildcats pulled ahead 51-40. Watkins hit his fourth 3-pointer to cap a 10-4 run and Davidson led 64-48 with 7:01 left and the Blue Hose trailed by double digits the rest of the way.

L.G. Gill scored 18 points, Derrick Colter added 17, and Eric James had 11 and a career-high-tying 12 rebounds for the Dukes (10-5, 0-2). Micah Mason had five assists and three steals.
