ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Michigan coach John Beilein says guard Caris LeVert's status is still uncertain heading into Thursday night's game at No. 20 Purdue.
LeVert sat out Saturday's win over Penn State with a lower left leg injury. He is Michigan's leading scorer, averaging 17.6 points per game.
Beilein says LeVert will play if he feels no pain during practice.
Beilein wouldn't elaborate on the details of LeVert's injury. He said in addition to Wednesday's practice, Thursday's shootaround might be another benchmark for LeVert in determining the status of his recovery.
