NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Nashville Predators have signed forward Fredrick Gaudreau to a two-year, entry-level contract.
Predators general manager David Poile announced the deal Tuesday.
Gaudreau, 22, leads the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals with 24 points and with 15 assists, helping the team lead the minor league's Western Conference. This is his first season in the AHL after splitting last season between Milwaukee and Cincinnati in the ECHL.
He went undrafted and joined the Predators after three seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League where he scored 134 points in 195 games with Shawinigan and Drummundville.
