RENO, Nev. (AP) — A family attorney says the father of a 20-year-old woman pronounced dead while she was the focus of an end-of-life court battle was told her heart stopped and that efforts to resuscitate her failed. Attorney David O'Mara tells The Associated Press that Aden Hailu (AY'-dehn HEHL'-oo) died yesterday at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center, where she never awoke from anesthesia after surgery April 1.

SPARKS, Nev. (AP) — A six-hour standoff with a SWAT team in Sparks has ended peacefully with the surrender of the suspect. Sparks police say Daniel Enriquez surrendered around 1 p.m. after police got several other people out. Police say Enriquez was a suspect in an earlier robbery and shooting.

RENO, Nev. (AP) — Donald Trump is bringing his Republican campaign for president back to northern Nevada this weekend. The real estate mogul and reality TV star has scheduled a rally at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Reno Events Center in downtown Reno. More than 4,000 people turned out for a similar event in Sparks in October.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Kodak wants to put its iconic Super 8 film cameras for video into the hands of young filmmakers. At the CES gadget show in Las Vegas, the company is showing off a new version of the 8 millimeter film camera, which was introduced in 1965. It eventually plans to release a range of Super 8 cameras, film development services and related equipment.
