OREM — For most sports fans, going to the Super Bowl is a life-long dream.
For 14-year-old Talon Peterson of Orem, it's a dream about to come true — all thanks to doing an impression of a future NFL Hall-of-Famer.
In November, Peterson submitted a video of himself imitating Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning to ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown Super Bowl Contest. His video was one of 15 finalists for the grand prize of two tickets to Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, California, on Feb.7.
Last Sunday, Peterson, a 9th grade student at Lakeridge Junior High School, was announced as the winner.
The Peterson family recorded the moment, and Talon's reaction was one of joyful fan-demonium.
Talon Peterson will be heading to Super Bowl 50, and it's safe to say he'll be hoping to see Manning and the Broncos there as well.
