SALT LAKE CITY — Welcome to today's From Left Field! Here are three of the most interesting stories in the world of sports today, including one with local ties.
Eric Weddle says he "probably won't speak with (the Chargers) again"
We reported last week about the fine levied against San Diego Chargers safety and former Univeristy of Utah standout Eric Weddle for watching his daughter perform during halftime. That's clearly left a mark, and in this video, he definitely doesn't have positive feelings towards the organization that's employed him:
It's an ugly situation, made uglier by the fact that the Chargers also filed for relocation Monday to move to Los Angeles. Once you've left a fanbase in the dust, after all, what's one player? Here's to hoping Weddle finds a better environment next season.
Some ground rules for parents at their children's games
We've all seen it — enough that it's a cliche by now. The angry sports parent, yelling at the coaches, referees — and even the young players themselves, like it's Game 7 of the World Series. It's a little bit sad, and a lot more embarrassing.
The Fox Valley Hockey Rink in Illinois was tired of mean hockey parents, so they put up this sign at the facility.
If you know an angry sports parent, please let them know about this sign.
Brian Urlacher has hair now!
In decidedly sillier NFL news than point one: you remember former Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher, right? You remember his signature look?
Well, Tuesday morning, Urlacher made an appearance on WGN, and, well, he looks different!

Whoa! Apparently, he had to keep it a secret for months before it looked good, wearing a hat everywhere he went. Now, he has hair. I don't know if it's an improvement? ![](http://beacon.deseretconnect.com/beacon.gif?cid=354009&pid=4)
