NEW YORK (AP) — The parent company of Staten Island University Hospital is getting a new name.
North Shore-LIJ Health System will be known as Northwell Health.
Staten Island University Hospital has been under the umbrella of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System since 1997.
It's a 21-hospital network that includes Staten Island's two campuses.
The Staten Island Advance (http://bit.ly/1PHON08 ) reports that the new name is the centerpiece of a rebranding and marketing campaign.
Hospitals will keep their names but will include the Northwell branding with a new multicolored logo.
Staten Island University Hospital will now be Staten Island University Hospital Northwell Health.
