MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (AP) — Cane Broome scored a career-high 33 points on 11-of-22 shooting to help rally Sacred Heart to a 69-65 win over Robert Morris on Saturday in a Northeast Conference opener.

Quincy McKnight scored 12 points, and his layup at 13:44 in the second half gave Sacred Heart a 43-42 lead after the Pioneers trailed 34-29 at halftime.

Broome scored seven points amid an 11-2 run for a 55-48 Sacred Heart lead with 6:58 left. The Colonials pulled within two, 67-65, on Matty McConnell's 3 with 11 seconds left, but Matej Buovac sealed the win with a pair of free throws.

Eyimofe Edukugho scored 10 points for the Pioneers (2-10), who made 17 of 23 free throws (74 percent).

Kavon Stewart scored 19 points for Robert Morris (2-12), which has lost three straight. Rodney Pryor added 16 and Isaiah Still 10.
