UNDATED (AP) — The large storm system that's been moving through the Midwest continued to cause misery for some air travelers. More than 2,800 flights into, out of, or across the U.S. were canceled and about 4,800 were delayed. A typical day sees about 150 cancelations and 4,000 delays.

CLEVELAND (AP) — Two Cleveland police officers won't be facing state criminal charges in the fatal shooting of a 12-year-old boy with a pellet gun. But Cleveland's mayor says the city and police department will proceed with an internal review that could result in disciplinary action. A grand jury has declined to indict the officers in the 2014 killing of Tamir Rice.

NEW YORK (AP) — A report says 69 journalists were killed on the job this year. The Committee to Protect Journalists says at least 28 of them were killed by Islamic militant groups, including al-Qaeda and ISIS. Eight journalists were slain during an attack at the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris in January.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister, the Motorhead frontman whose outsized persona made him a hero for generations of hard-rockers and metal-heads, has died in Los Angeles. He was 70. Known simply as "Lemmy" to most people, he died Monday after a brief battle with aggressive cancer. Fellow rocker Ozzy Osbourne tweeted: "I will see you on the other side."

KAILUA, Hawaii (AP) — President Barack Obama was all smiles as he wound up a round of golf on Monday afternoon with friends in Kailua on the island of Oahu. Obama spent nearly six hours playing golf at the Mid Pacific Country Club. A small crowd gathered nearby, excited to see the president as he continues his Hawaiian vacation.
