(KSL Sportsbeat) The Deseret News reports that the Jazz will hold a press conference Friday to announce they've signed point guard Deron Williams to a multi-year contract extension.

Williams agent Bob McClaren says "There will be a great announcement in Salt Lake City tomorrow, an announcement everyone will be happy with."

It's not known yet whether it's a 3-year deal that could reach $50 million, a 4-year deal worth upward of $70 million, or a 5-year extension in the neighborhood of $90 million.

Williams leaves for his Olympic Team training camp in Las Vegas Saturday, then on to Beijing next weekend.
