PROVO, Utah (AP) -- For the first time in decades, the Utah Department of Transportation says there are fewer drivers on the road over the past couple of months.
UDOT says there's been about a 3 percent drop in traffic, with the high price of gas as the most likely reason for it.
At the same time, the Utah Transit Authority says its ridership is up 20 percent over the past year.
