Panthers out for win No. 13...Texas hosting Pats tonight...Warriors dropped their first game last night

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — The unbeaten Charlotte Panthers are looking for their 13th win of the season this afternoon. The team led by Cam Newton is home to the Atlanta Falcons, who after a good start to the season have fallen to 6-6.

HOUSTON (AP) — This evening's NFL game is being played in Houston as the Texans entertain the Patriots. Houston starts play with six wins in 12 games while the Patriots, who have lost two in a row, are 10-2.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Golden State Warriors are no longer unbeaten. They suffered their first loss of the season last night in Milwaukee as the Bucks came out on top 108-95. The Warriors are now 24-1.

UNDATED (AP) — There are four Top-25 men's basketball games today. The highest-ranked school in action is No. 4 Iowa State as the Cyclones are home to Arkansas-Pine Bluff this evening. The only other Top-10 game has No. 9 Villanova at home to La Salle this afternoon.

CHICAGO (AP) — Patrick Kane of the Blackhawks will attempt to keep his scoring streak alive. Kane has racked up at least a point in 25 straight games and tonight the Blackhawks are home to Vancouver.
