AMERICAN FORK — Charlie Olsen had 21 points and nine rebounds, and Preston Sanchez added 21 points to help Copper Hills take the Utah Elite 8 tournament title with a 66-63 win over region rival Bingham in the championship Saturday.
Porter Hawkins added 13 points for the Grizzlies (3-0), who shot 58 percent from the field in the first half to take a 36-31 lead at the break.
BYU signee Yoeli Childs had a game-high 35 points and 15 rebounds for the Miners (3-1), and Lleyton Parker added 13 points for Bingham.
