BOSTON (AP) — Quincy Ford scored 17 points with 12 rebounds and blocked five shots as Northeastern defeated Stony Brook 75-62 on Saturday.

Stony Brook's Jameel Warney scored a season-high 29 points and became the leading scorer in Stony Brook's Division I history with 1,631 points in his career. With 11 rebounds, Warney collected his 46th double-double.

Jeremy Miller led the Huskies (7-3) with 18 points, three steals and no turnovers, David Walker scored 16 with seven assists.

After a couple of early ties, Northeastern soon built a 10-point lead and were up 38-27 at halftime when Ford made a layup at the buzzer. Northeastern opened the second half with a 10-2 run, Ford capping it with back-to-back steals and two baskets — one a 3-point play.
