FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Four of the nine people killed in a melee between rival biker gangs outside a Texas restaurant were struck by the same type of rifle fired by Waco police, according to evidence obtained by The Associated Press. The evidence provides the most insight yet into whether authorities might have been responsible for any of the deaths and injuries.

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) — Dive teams have resumed searching a small lake in a San Bernardino park for evidence related to the massacre that killed 14 people last week. A law enforcement official briefed on the investigation said divers are looking for a computer hard drive that may have been dumped in the lake.

BALTIMORE (AP) — The defense rested today in the manslaughter trial of Baltimore police officer William Porter. Defense attorneys concluded their case after a department captain testified Porter went beyond his duty to assist the driver of the police van in which Freddie Gray's neck was broken. Closing arguments are scheduled Monday.

NEW YORK (AP) — About a dozen protesters disrupted Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's speech at a closed-door, $1,000-a-plate New York City luncheon today. They criticized the billionaire businessman's recent anti-Islam rhetoric as security staff forcibly ejected some of them from the event.

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — A car bomb explosion that was claimed by the Taliban hit a diplomatic area of central Kabul today, killing a Spanish police officer. The area was rocked by at least five more explosions and gunfire overnight as security forces tried to flush out Taliban attackers.
