(KSL News) You've waited for it for months, and finally Utah's own American Idol is back home.
David Archuleta is performing with the American Idol tour tonight, but he stopped by our Studio 5 today for a preview.
Screaming fans poured into our studio today to get an up close and personal look at Archuleta. Before the show, we met up with a few of them to find out why they love him so much.
"He's a really good singer, obviously. And he's really cute and humble and down to earth. He just seems like a good guy," said Rachel Smith said.
Laci Davis told us, "Maybe I shouldn't say this, but have you seen him lick his lips? It's rather amazing."
The young star answered questions from the fans and even performed a few songs for us. He takes the stage one last time with the rest of the American Idols from this season tonight at the ECenter.
