WASHINGTON (AP) — Wizards center Marcin Gortat has returned to the team ahead of Wednesday's game against the Rockets.
Gortat missed three games for personal reasons. He is averaging 12.0 points and 8.7 rebounds this season, and had three consecutive double-doubles before his absence.
The Wizards are still depleted inside. Coach Randy Wittman says banged-up forwards Nene, Drew Gooden and Kris Humphries are unavailable Wednesday.
