HEBER CITY — A man was ejected and killed after a truck and SUV collided Tuesday evening, the Utah Highway Patrol confirmed.

A 2008 Dodge Ram pickup was traveling southeast on U.S. 40 and T-boned a 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe, which was turning left onto the highway from Airport Road around 5:20 p.m., UHP Sgt. Todd Royce said.

The man driving the SUV was ejected from the vehicle and pinned underneath as it rolled, Royce said. He died at the scene.

The man's name and age were not immediately released. The driver of the pickup suffered minor injuries and was taken to the Heber Valley Medical Center.

"It appears that the Tahoe failed to stop (or) yield at the stop sign on East Airport Road," the Utah Highway Patrol said in a statement.

There were no other passengers in either vehicle.
