CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) — A rocket carrying cargo to the International Space Station is on its way. After three straight days of weather delays, the unmanned Atlas V rocket has blasted off from Cape Canaveral, carrying groceries, Christmas gifts and other supplies. It's scheduled to deliver the cargo to the space station on Wednesday -- the first t U.S. delivery there in nearly eight months.

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) — Two officials say investigators are looking into whether Tashfeen Malik radicalized her American-born husband and was the driving force in the San Bernardino massacre plot. That possibility emerged late last week when it was disclosed that the Pakistani-born Malik had pledged allegiance to the Islamic State group in a Facebook post at about the same time she and husband Syed Farook launched the commando-style attack that killed 14 people.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama will be talking to the nation this evening about the California shootings, the threat of terrorism and the steps being taken to counter it. Administration officials say the president isn't expected to announce any major policy changes, but will urge Americans not to give into fear. It will be just his third televised speech from the Oval Office, and his first since 2010.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Hillary Clinton says "the black flag" of the Islamic State group could be flying over the Palestinian territories if the Palestinian Authority and President Mahmoud Abbas fail to keep order. The Democratic presidential candidate and former secretary of state tells a conference at the Brookings Institution that a Palestinian leadership vacuum could provide an opening for IS to make inroads. Clinton says as president, she'd push Israelis and Palestinians toward a peace deal -- even though she knows how difficult that is.

TUNICA, Miss. (AP) — A statement from a Mississippi airport says there was minimal damage to actor Morgan Freeman's plane in a forced landing yesterday. A spokesman for Tunica Airport says he can't give specifics because federal authorities are investigating the Saturday incident. In a statement released by his publicist yesterday, Freeman said neither he nor his pilot was hurt but added, "I cannot say the same about my plane." A friend of the actor told The Associated Press that the plane blew a tire on takeoff and made an emergency landing.
