The names and numbers are starting to come together with the start of BYU Football camp only three weeks away.

The school has updated its roster from the Spring roll that had been the list of record until this weekend, and here's how it breaks down:

From the Spring roster, 25 names have been removed, and 25 players then added for Fall, including 14 players from the most recent recruiting class of 21. The 7 players from the Class of 2008 not on the Fall roster are four players who are serving LDS missions prior to enrolling (Jake Murphy, Austin Holt, Kevan Bills and Michael Yeck), and 3 players who otherwise have not yet qualified/arrived (Atem Bol, Seta Pohahau) or will play elsehwhere (Tolu Moala at Oklahoma State). Onetime Cougar DL Kyle Luekenga re-appears on the roster, with the remaining 10 additional players (Justin Blackmore, Braden Brown, Jefferson Court, Nate Hartung, Tucker Lamb, Blake Morgan, Rex Morgan, Lawrence Pico, Christian Stewart and Victor Unga) considered walk-ons.

The current roster totals 102 players, with 105 spots available for day one of Fall camp.

Among the 25 players taken off the Spring roster is injured linebacker Terrance Hooks, while other notable players missing from the latest roster are Nate Hutchinson, Levi Mack, Saia Hafoka, Cortny Barton and Steven Fendry.

As is the case every year, the 105-man roster is a work in progress into and through the first week of camp, with late additions and departures very much the norm, year in and year out. But the current list of players will look very much like the cast of characters who will eventually suit up come August 2nd under summer sun in Provo.
