(KSL News) Third Congressional District candidate Jason Chaffetz is headed to Alaska.
He'll join six other Republican contenders in a trip to the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to check out potential oil drilling sites.
Chaffetz tells the Salt Lake Tribune with energy being such a big issue, the trip will allow him to see for himself a solution to the energy crisis.
He also said his campaign will pay for the three-day trip.
