It's now official. According to ReAL Salt Lake...Soccer star David Beckham is coming to Utah. Beckham will join ReAL Madrid at Rice Eccles Stadium on August 12th. He is scheduled to participate in an autograph session and training session before the match with RSL. Despite a recent injury, Beckham may even play.

Back in July, ReAL Madrid's website, citing a BBC report, said Beckham suffered a strained knee ligament and a slightly torn achilles tendon in England's Quarterfinal loss to Portugal. It turns out that the injury was not as serious as originally reported making it possible that the former English Captain could play in the August 12th match with ReAL Salt Lake.
