(KSL News) -- Governor Jon Huntsman Jr. will support Senator John McCain for President in 2008.
The Washington Post reports Huntsman has agreed to serve as a co-chairman of McCain's Straight Talk America Political Action Committee.
The move strikes deep into the political base of Massachusetts Governor MItt Romney, who is another potential contender for the Republian nomination.
In fact, Governor Huntsman's father, Jon Huntsman Senior had been a leading contributor to Governor Romney's Commonwealth Political Action Committee.
