White Sox reinstate reliever Putnam off disabled list

CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago White Sox have reinstated right-handed reliever Zach Putnam from the 15-day disabled list before Friday's game against the Minnesota Twins.

The 28-year-old Putnam was placed on the DL on Aug. 29 with a strained right groin.

Putnam is 3-3 with a 3.07 ERA in 41 appearances.
