CEDAR CITY — In Southern Utah, Desert Hills, Dixie, Pine View and Hurricane have been the teams that have received the most attention over the past few years.

It's no disrespect to the other programs; those are just the schools that have dominated 3AA when it comes to the state playoffs.

But Canyon View hopes to add its name to the list of Southern Utah's top high school football programs, with a 3-0 record and the Falcons' best start in 17 years.

With a school-record five-straight wins, the Falcons have been getting it done on offense, ranked second in Utah with 46 points per game.

The Falcons will face their stiffest test yet on Friday night at Dixie, where Canyon View will try to make it four-in-a-row to open the 2015 season.
