CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Carolina Panthers coach Ron Rivera says defensive tackle Star Lotulelei will miss Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars due to a foot injury.
Lotulelei has missed all four preseason games with stress reaction in the same right foot that kept him out of last year's NFC divisional playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Rivera said there is a good chance Lotulelei will play in Week 2.
Kyle Love will start in Lotulelei's spot.
Backup fullback Richie Brockel (shoulder) and offensive tackle Nate Chandler (knee) are also listed as out.
Rivera said four-time Pro Bowl center Ryan Kalil is probable with a left knee sprain and will start, although he won't play every snap. Mike Remmers will see some action at center.
Cornerback Josh Norman (concussion) has been cleared to play.
