CRYSTAL SKULL — If you've ever read any of my stories, then you're well aware that I do not care for "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."

I walked into the theater to see Indy 4 as excited as the day I walked into "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" as a 6-year-old, but life is full of disappointments.

When I walked out of "Last Crusade," I was entranced and wanted nothing more than to don a fedora and save a rare artifact. When I walked out of "Crystal Skull," however, all I wanted to do was get home and take a shower to get the awful taste of that movie out of my mouth.

With all of that said, I've recently learned that there is something to appreciate about Indy's adventure into the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull thanks to editor and director Pablo Fernandez Eyre.

Indiana Jones 4 and the Echoes of the Past from whoispablo on Vimeo.

Eyre posted this video on his Vimeo page titled "Indiana Jones 4 and the Echoes of the Past."

The video gives us a look at similar shots from Indy 4 and its three predecessors. Granted, as you watch it you can't help but think, "The fourth was so bad, but it's borrowing from these great flicks. This really makes me want to watch the first three and curse the fourth until the day I die."

Maybe that's a little harsh, but it is fun to watch Eyre's video and if anything it will instill a bit of nostalgia into your day.
