MIAMI (AP) — Forecasters say Tropical Storm Henri is beginning to show signs of losing organization as it races up the north Atlantic.
The storm's top sustained winds were near 40 mph (65 kph) by midday Friday. The U.S. National Hurricane Center says Henri is forecast to become a post-tropical storm on Saturday if it doesn't dissipate before then.
Henri is centered about 680 miles (1,095 kilometers) south-southwest of Cape Race Newfoundland, Canada. It is moving north-northeast at 20 mph (31 kph) and is expected to pick up speed in coming hours.
