LONG BRANCH, N.J. (AP) — About 100 mourners waited in the heat and humidity to pay final respects to a family of four who authorities say died in murder-suicide in their Jersey shore home.
Four caskets lay side by side at the Damiano Funeral Home on Tuesday. Photos of Lyndon Beharry, 29-year-old Amanda Morris and their children, 7-year-old Brandon and 4-year-old Brian, were on display.
Authorities say Beharry shot his partner and their two children on Sept. 2 before setting their Long Branch house on fire and killing himself. A motive for the shootings has not been disclosed.
Karen Perri told the Asbury Park Press (http://on.app.com/1g91DY5 ) it is "senseless." She says no once can make sense of it.
