BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — LSU and McNeese State officials Athletic say refunds will be offered on tickets purchased for last Saturday night's canceled football game at Tiger Stadium.

LSU athletics director Joe Alleva says LSU will offer refunds to season ticket holders or those who purchase tickets through the LSU Athletic Ticket Office, LSUtix.net or the LSU Ticket Marketplace site.

Meanwhile, McNeese State athletics officials say they'll refund tickets purchased through their athletics department.

The No. 14 Tigers and visiting Cowboys were ordered off of the field when lightning was detected in the area with 10:08 remaining in the first quarter.

Lightning persisted throughout a four-hour delay before officials decided to cancel the game.

Alleva says those who bought tickets from "unauthorized third parties" will have to contact those vendors about refunds.
