HOUSTON (AP) — The Houston Texans have signed long snapper Jon Weeks to a contract extension and set their practice squad.
Weeks has appeared in all 80 regular-season games and Houston's four playoff games since signing with the team as a free agent in 2010. He has snapped the ball for 767 extra points, field goals and punts combined in his career. He also has 12 tackles on special teams.
Terms of the deal were not released.
Also on Monday, the Texans signed 10 players to their practice squad including receiver Alan Bonner, running back Kenny Hilliard, linebacker Max Bullough and quarterback Zac Dysert.
