TOWSON, Md. (AP) — Police say a Towson University graduate student has been found dead in an off-campus apartment.

Baltimore County police say 28-year-old Darcie Moloshok was found dead Friday afternoon after her mother called the university to express concern for her welfare.

Police say a substance believed to be heroin was found in the apartment. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause and manner of death.

A university spokesman declined to comment specifically but said in a statement that the university community is saddened by the death of a graduate student.
