BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A Boise man is facing charges after authorities say he led police on a high-speed chase that spanned the Idaho-Washington border. Police say 22-year-old Spencer Cox drove at speeds that reached 120 mph as he fled Friday. The Idaho Statesman reports that an Idaho State Police officer pulled over Cox and discovered he had an outstanding felony warrant from Ada County.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — An Idaho judge has tossed out portions of a lawsuit against the owner of a Boise area, where a handful of hockey fans contend they were victims of a beer scam. According to KBOI-TV, the lawsuit contends that Block 22 LLC, which does business as CenturyLink Arena, defrauded customers by fooling them into thinking that a tall, narrow cup of beer sold for $7 was substantially bigger than a shorter, wider cup sold for $4. The case will now move forward.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Public health inspectors have closed a longtime Boise restaurant after experiencing a sewage backup. The Idaho Statesman reports that Siam Thai restaurant has had its restaurant's license temporarily suspended by the Central District Health Department. According to the health department, a clogged grease trap triggered the backup which resulted in sewage spilling into the alley.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Twin Falls police say a man attempting to shoplift from Target walked right past a police officer with an armful of clothing. Authorities say the officer approached the 25-year-old man in the parking lot as he carried $80 worth of clothes on hangers without a bag. Authorities say the man fled after being asked to produce a receipt.
