COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) — Sweden's royal palace says Crown Princess Victoria and her husband, Prince Daniel, are expecting their second child in March.

Victoria, 38, married Daniel, a commoner and her former personal trainer, in June 2010. In February 2012, she gave birth to the couple's first child, Princess Estelle.

The palace said Friday no changes in the couple's public schedule were planned for the rest of the year.

Victoria is next in line to the throne held by her father, King Carl XVI Gustaf, since 1973. Sweden changed the constitution in 1980, three years after Victoria was born, to allow the eldest heir to inherit the throne, regardless of gender. Before that female heirs were excluded.
