LAS VEGAS (AP) — Trial has been reset to Dec. 7 for a 22-year-old Henderson man facing felony charges that could get him up to 40 years in prison in a high-speed crash that killed two teenage women in southeast Las Vegas.
Records show that Seong Mo Lee remains at the Clark County jail on more than $4 million bail pending trial on two counts of driving under the influence causing death.
Prosecutor Brian Rutledge says the postponement lets Lee's new lawyer, Kathleen Bliss, prepare for trial.
Lee is accused of having a blood-alcohol percentage more than twice the legal limit when the Mercedes he was driving 117-mph in a 45-mph zone slammed into a Nissan Versa early March 5 on Boulder Highway.
Kamesha J'Nyah Gilmore and Gabriell Thomas were killed in the Nissan.
