RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Richmond Sheriff C.T. Woody Jr. says one of three inmate deaths at the city jail was due to natural causes.

Woody said Wednesday that a medical examiner determined 38-year-old Javon Antoine Morris died of coronary disease.

Woody says three inmates died within a 72-hour period in July.

He says autopsy reports in the deaths of Shawn Samuel Jr. and Zachary Tuggle are pending.
