FRESNO, Calif. (AP) — A 15-year-old boy was arrested and classes at a Central California high school were canceled Tuesday after police discovered threats against other students posted on social media, authorities said.

The threats led police to the student's home, where police recovered an airsoft AK-47 replica, a revolver and ammunition, and a ballistic vest.

San Joaquin Memorial High School canceled classes after officials learned that the student's Instagram posts suggested he planned to shoot up the school with an AK-47, The Fresno Bee reported (http://bit.ly/1Q6JWoR ).

School board chairman Mike Der Manouel Jr. told the newspaper that it appeared the boy was quoting song lyrics on his account referring to students who were slain at Columbine High School. Two students at that Colorado school killed 13 people and wounded 21 others in 1999.

Police Chief Jerry Dyer said the boy, whose name wasn't released, was is at a mental health facility and is facing charges of felony terrorist threats and disrupting school.

Classes were expected to resume Wednesday.
