(KSL News) A jury has convicted Roger Malcom of first-degree murder in a truck-stop shooting late last year.
In December, 51-year-old Malcom shot and killed 31-year-old Verne Jenkins, a security guard at the Sapp Brothers truck stop in Salt Lake City.
Malcom had argued that the shooting was an act of self-defense, but the jury did not agree. He will be sentenced on Aug 18.
