MAGNA — An elderly man was killed in a vehicle-pedestrian accident in Magna Friday night, police said.
Around 7:30 p.m. Friday, police received calls of an accident near 8300 West and 3500 South in Magna, according to Det. Jared Richardson of Unified Police Department.
Upon responding, they discovered that Gordon Dean, 93, had been hit by a vehicle in the road as he crossed north to south. Dean passed away, Richardson said.
