LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas authorities have released the name of a woman who was killed after being struck by a pickup truck on a busy stretch of Boulder Highway.

KVVU-TV in Las Vegas reported (http://bit.ly/1PtwlXH) Saturday that Clark County Coroner's Office identified the woman as 40-year-old Gayle Menzie.

Investigators say Menzie was not in a crosswalk when she was crossing the intersection of Boulder Highway and Sandhill Road on Thursday afternoon.

Menzie was taken to Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center but was pronounced dead.

The driver, 38-year-old Walter Restrepo of Sacramento, California, is not being charged.

The incident is the 64th fatal traffic crash in Las Vegas police's jurisdiction this year.
