SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) — Embellish the Lace led every step of the way to win the 135th running of the Grade 1 $600,000 Alabama Stakes by 1 1/4 lengths Saturday at Saratoga Race Course.

Trained by Tony Dutrow and ridden by Javier Castellano, Embellish the Lace ran 1 1/4 miles in 2:01.97 over the fast main track in one of the oldest stakes races for 3-year-old fillies in the country.
