TOOELE, Utah (AP) — Police are investigating the theft of two albino iguanas from a Tooele pet store that are worth a combined $2,400.
The Deseret News reports (http://bit.ly/1NqTRqQ) Rockstar Pets manager Jen Walters says the thieves struck either late Wednesday or early Thursday. Only the iguanas were taken.
Walters says a $2,000 iguana that went missing is one of seven of its kind in the country.
Police Officer Tanya Tunrbow says this is the first iguana lizard theft case she's ever seen.
People with information on the thefts are encouraged to contact authorities.
