CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly lower in early trading Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery fell 6.25 cents to $5.05 a bushel; December corn was 1.5 cents lower at $3.81 a bushel; December oats rose a penny to $2.34 a bushel; while November soybeans lost 6 cents to 9.0125 a bushel.
Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was .40 cent lower at $1.4592 a pound; October feeder cattle was .80 cent lower at $2.0317 a pound; October lean hogs lost .05 cent to $.6470 a pound.
