ROAMING SHORES, Ohio (AP) — Police participating in a northeast Ohio raid say they found more than just drugs: They say they also found bones.

The (Ashtabula) Star-Beacon reports (http://bit.ly/1MBFD4I ) the Ashtabula County coroner confirmed that bones found by officers in a fire pit Thursday are human.

Sheriff William Johnson says the discovery might be linked to a missing Warren teen, but it's too early to tell.

Authorities raided the Roaming Shores home Thursday morning on suspicion of drug activity. They arrested one man, who hasn't been identified.

Acting on a tip from other law enforcement, investigators located the human remains in the outdoor fire pit.

Officials say DNA will be collected from the missing 18-year-old woman's mother to confirm if the remains are hers. The results won't be returned for weeks.
