AKRON, Ohio (AP) — Police say they've identified a suspect in a fatal Ohio mall parking lot stabbing.
An Akron police spokesman said in a statement Thursday that an arrest warrant has been issued for 29-year-old Deandre Baskerville, of Akron. He is accused of fatally stabbing 35-year-old Terrance Rogers, of Akron, in the neck outside Chapel Hill Mall on Wednesday.
The spokesman says the two men got into an argument near a mall entrance and that Baskerville pulled out a knife and stabbed Rogers before fleeing in a red SUV. Police say Rogers ran back into the mall and collapsed near a sports apparel store. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
