(KSL News) Nearly 30,000 disabled veterans and retirees in Utah haven't gotten their economic stimulus checks because they haven't filed the paperwork.

The IRS is launching a summer push to help get the money into eligible hands. Those who receive Social Security and veteran affairs benefits and normally wouldn't file a return have until Oct. 15 to file for their stimulus payment.

The IRS has paid more out more than $63 billion as part of the stimulus plan so far.
